Rick Macrory - C.A.D.C.-C.A.S.
Program Director & Co-Facilitator
Rick Macrory is a certified Chemical Dependent Counselor who has had experience as a case manager and facilitator in many treatment facilities, as well as extensive knowledge on how to work recovery in his life. Rick attended Point Loma College in San Diego where he studied Business Administration. Rick has excelled in sports and developed the art of working as a team player. He brings to our program compassion, love of recovery and straight talk. He is passionate about recovery and about helping our clients change the direction of their lives. Rick creates a trusting, vulnerable environment for our clients to navigate the most difficult emotional work.
Shane Coyle - C.A.T.C.I., C.D.S.
Co-Facilitator
Shane Coyle, for 5 years, has worked in various treatment centers in the Los Angeles area. Currently, he is the Primary Counselor at Breathe Life Healing Centers, working with clients (individuals/groups) with an emphasis on dual-diagnosis and trauma. For the past 2 years, Shane has been co-leading the Equine Therapy sessions at Creative Care, a dual-diagnosis residential treatment facility. Shane was introduced to Equine Therapy through a co-worker, and fell in love with it instantly. He attended the EAGALA training, and believes working with the horses is healing. Prior, Shane was the Program Creator/Director of community outreach at Sober College (a facility treating young adults with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders). Shane believes that volunteering is a beneficial and powerful therapeutic tool in recovery. In addition, Shane led an Emotional Intelligence Program and facilitated process groups. Shane has interned at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center as an addiction counselor to male adults- facilitating individual and group sessions, and leading classes on grief and loss, as well as, beginner book study. Shane graduated Pierce College with a degree in Addiction Studies, and in the summer of 2013 became certified under California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE). Shane is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, with a focus on trauma and addiction.
DaMarcus L. Morton - A.S., N.C.R.C.-1
Co-Facilitator
DaMarcus L. Morton graduated with an A.S. from the University of Akron in Ohio where he studied Sociology. He continued his studies in Los Angeles, California where he was trained in Addiction treatment. DaMarcus has served on the Training Advisory Board for Law & Ethics for Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Professionals in Seattle, Washington. In addition, he has been part of the Department of Social and Health Services in their Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. DaMarcus has been actively involved with various Family Service programs where he has made tremendous impact with his knowledge of addiction and social awareness. He has a life coaching practice and works in conjunction with various treatment centers as well as treatment programs.
Shelley Stevens - C.A.D.A.C. II
Co-Facilitator
Shelley Stevens has been committed to and involved in recovery work for almost 20 years. She became a certified counselor in 2005. Her counseling style has been described as empathetic and strong. She has a lot of respect for people challenged with addictions, which is reflected in her work. She understands it takes courage to change and is adept at helping people discover and access the strength within them. Shelley’s groups are dynamic, honest and provide an environment for self-exploration under the umbrella of recovery.
Paige Sefton - M.F.T.
Intern & Co-Facilitator
Paige Sefton is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern with a concentration in co-occurring disorders. Paige earned a Bachelors degree in psychology from University of California at Santa Barbara, then began working in the corporate world before going back to earn her Masters degree in psychology. She has worked with a variety of clients and specializes in addiction and recovery. Paige is pursuing her dream of helping people find happiness and fulfillment in their lives. We are pleased to have Paige as part of our team of group facilitators and therapists. She not only brings compassion and tremendous insight to her approach to therapy; but also, has skills to assist our clients navigate through challenging life changes.
Rudy Castro - M.S., A.C.S.W.
Intern and Co-Facilitator
Rudy Castro is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who received his Master’s degree of Social Work from California State University, Northridge. He has worked in the field of addiction and mental health for over ten years in various capacities, most recently as a medical social worker for an acute Hospital alcohol/drug detox as well as their outreach coordinator. He has also been the drug treatment program director at Rancho San Antonio, a 100 bed group home for adjudicated youth. Living by example, Rudy has broken at least three generations of addiction in his family lineage, and has been sober since he was fifteen years old, with over twenty years of sobriety. As a result, Rudy lives a life of passion and service for wellness and freedom from addiction. In combination of his personal and professional experience, Rudy is an eclectic and integrative clinician who develops a client-centered approach to healing. Rudy maintains a private practice serving individuals, couples, and families in Los Angeles. We are proud to have Rudy Castro as valuable clinician at inneractions.
Ellie Tabibian
Career Services Director
Ellie Tabibian is a professional career services leader and certified StrengthsFinder coach. Her passion for fulfilling the educational and career needs of individuals with strengths-based assessments is inspirational for the whole Inneractions family. During her 10+ years of educational counseling, Ellie has worked with both children and adults to identify their most valuable skill sets and hidden talents. Her unique approach to counseling is the culmination of her diverse experience as a Gallup Certified StrengthsFinder coach, career services director, personal development instructor, and school psychologist.
Liat Lekovitz - M.O.
Acupuncturist
Liat is a licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Shiatsu specialist, and has been in private practice since 1998. She completed her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica. Liat received her B.A. in Chinese Medicine from Medi-cin College in Israel. Liat specializes in both meditation and movement meditation for individuals and groups. While obtaining her Master’s degree, she began applying traditional Chinese medicine toward addiction recovery. Liat believes that acupuncture, combined with specific meditation, leads to a significant difference in a person’s journey towards recovery and a healthy lifestyle. Utilizing the Chinese methodology of focusing on internal organs, Liat is able to create customized treatments that promote the patient’s full recovery and future well-being.
